Artist's Description

Typically it is suggested that you shoot Infrared with the light behind you, because the point is to catch reflected Infrared Spectrum off the leaves. But I really prefer to shoot into the sun...because..... Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun, but Mama, that's where the fun is! Shot with an unconverted Olympus EP-5. a Nikkor 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 with a 720nm filter. Processed in Lightroom with a channel swap.

Catch me on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/linda_unger_photography/ I'm a Member TPPA. I've been in photography for 46 years, starting with a Minolta SRT 101 and finally graduating to the Canon 30D and 50D series. Today I have a Canon 7D Mark II and an Olympus E-P5. But a few years back I got bitten by the film bug again and purchased 2 film cameras, a Mamiya 645 and a Mamiya 645 1000s Medium Format Film Camera, along with a Yashica Electro 35 GTN and a Nikon F3HP to play with.. I just love it. I started working in my 20's in the darkroom with the old fashioned "rock the tray" developing method. I shot with a camera as big as a car for many years in the printing industry. There I learned the "feel" of what my settings should be....
